The Hilal to commence the month of Zul Hijjah 1444 AH was looked for after the sunset on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Reports from CHC subcommittees confirmed that the moon WAS SIGHTED in Plano, TX by CHC representatives.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared Monday, June 19, 2023 the First day of Zul Hijjah 1444 AH.
Eid al Adha will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Ayaam al Tashreeq: From after Fajr of Tuesday, June 27 to after Asr of Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Days of Qurbani: Wednesday, June 28 to Friday, June 30.
